Bank of America iPhone App helps you find the ATM
Remember that old TV commercial for visa, when a couple lost in the desert in some remote part of the world with cash was not satisfied by a little boy we frantically, shouting "Ateeim! Ateeim! Ateeim specifies everything! "As the pair wondered who was Ateeim, the boy led them in the Centre of the village, which, miraculously, an ATM has risen. With the Bank of America iPhone app, you do not need to rely upon the natives, to find the nearest ATM. Bank of America's iPhone application will show you the nearest ATM in your position and will also allow to check your balance and pay your bills, all from the comfort of your iPhone. Only now do we need for all other banks to get iPhone applications with, so that other customers can have the same easy access.

A Review Of The Apple iPhone 5 Specifications

It is widely anticipated that Apple's newest flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5, will be launched in October. The imminent launch has got a lot of rumors floating around about the design and specifications and everyone wants to be the first to know!
iPhone 5 will have a tough time keeping up with the success of iPhone 4. iPhone 4 had initial reception issues; however since then it has been selling pretty strongly as evidenced by the sales of Verizon and AT&T, the two carriers currently offering it.
It should be said that the iPhone 5 specifications are rumored to be pretty impressive. Hence it might be well worth the wait in case you are planning on picking up an iPhone.
It is stated that much care has gone into the iPhone 5 design to make it pretty unique. One of the first rumors states that iPhone 5 will take the shape of a great teardrop, thereby making it the slimmest iPhone till date. It is also speculated that Apple will replacing the glass back that featured in iPhone 4 with a more sturdy and lasting aluminum instead.
Many of the Android phones these days make use of a dual core processor, and it will be no wonder if Apple's iPhone 5 follows suit. It is rumored that Apple iPhone 5 will make use of a quality A5 processor, the same that is used in iPad 2. This important upgrade will no doubt help the iPhone 5 for operating on a much faster and broader scale.
It is believed that Apple iPhone 5 will be sporting an 8.0 megapixel camera having a dual flash. This is definitely an enhancement to the better compared to the 5.0 megapixel camera sported by iPhone 4. iPhone 5 can now compete with many Android phones when it comes to the camera feature.
One another great feature anticipated in iPhone 5 will be the iCloud. iCloud offers the users the facility to store their pictures, music and any other data in a virtual cloud. This enables the phone's memory capacity to be free for other applications. It is believed that 5GB of cloud space would be provided free for all the iPhone users, and it is possible to get increased storage by paying an annual fee.
iOS 5 is yet another great feature offered by iPhone 5. iOS 5 is reportedly expected to be a revolutionary operating system that will completely transform the iPhone. It will include Newsstand and iMessage and as well improve the system for notifications, thus not interrupting you when you are busy working on something in your phone. It is no wonder that users will relish these features. iOS 5, incidentally, also works on the 3GS and iPhone4 models.
And here is one of the most speculated things about iPhone 5 - it is strongly rumored that iPhone 5 is a SIM-less device. iPhone 5 is reportedly manufactured with multiple internal antennas. This would allow users across the world to use iPhone 5 in both the CDMA wireless or GSM network.

White iPhone 4 Vs Black iPhone 4: Is It a Gender Thing?

When any technology gadget has two colors one of the first questions that is always asked: "Is one color for men and the other for women?" The simple answer when it comes to the white iPhone 4 vs. the Black iPhone 4 is NO. In fact, many discussion boards and websites have looked in to this very thing. Although there is no hard evidence coming from Apple it seems that iPhone color is chosen more based on individual taste than gender specific guidelines.
There was a questionnaire on Macforum.com that asked iPhone users to state what color iPhone they have and what their gender was. The questionnaire had some surprising results.
Male with Black iPhone: 106 people or 53.54%
Male with White iPhone: 72 people or 36.36%
Female with Black iPhone: 10 people or 5.05%
Female with White iPhone: 10 people or 5.05%
Although this survey is not scientific by any means, it does give us some insight. Men were more likely to have a black iPhone than a white iPhone but women were just as likely to have either (although this is from a significantly smaller sample size). Surveys on other websites returned much the same results but in most cases even women chose the black iPhone over the white iPhone. When asked which color iPhone 4 do you want the results were still consistent.
The bottom line is that both men and women actually prefer the black iPhone the white. With the iPhone 3G and 3Gs both white and black models were offered and the black constantly out sold the white. The same is true for Google searches when a new iPhone is going to be released. Early on, when both the black and white iPhone 4s were going to be released, average monthly Google searches for black iPhone 4 far outpaced that for white iPhone 4. Black iPhone 4 had 2,900 searches while the white iPhone 4 had 10% of that at 260. Across the board, both male and female, black iPhones are more popular than their white brethren. The fact that seems to get lost most is that these are white and black iPhones not pink and black iPhones. If that were the case there would probably be a much more pronounced gender preference.
When multiple people were asked which color iPhone they wanted the answers were never uniform based on gender:
"I'm going to get the white iPhone 4 because it has a clean look to it and I hear finger smudges won't show up as much." -Trent Pirillo
"I like the black iPhone 4 for its slick design. The chrome looks much better on black than it does on white." -Julie Hodge
"I have the black one because it is already out and I don't have to wait for it. I don't care about the color because I put a cover on my iPhone anyways." -Paul Bowman
It is hard to tell whether the iPhone color is a gender thing. From interviews and online surveys it does not seem that gender has anything to do with the color iPhone that a person picks. What is very apparent is that the majority of people like the black iPhone over the white iPhone. When "The White" does finally come out it would be interesting for Apple to release gender specific statistics. Give a choice which would you choose?

Apple iPhone Parts

If like many iPhone users, you've discovered that malfunctioning Apple iPhone parts can be a real chore. The decision whether to send an iPhone off to an authorized service center, or simply buy a new one, can put the wallet somewhere between a rock and a hard place. Even if it is cheaper to repair, it might not make any sense to continue with a semi-damaged phone in lieu of a new one for the price. Instead of getting down, it's best to get an idea of what some of the other options are. By finding other users selling broken or damaged iPhones, or even just Apple iPhone parts, it can be easier than you think to fix a broken iPhone- and certainly more economical. Today, Apple iPhone parts are available for low prices, for both the 1st Generation iPhone and the new iPhone 3G model. The same applies to iPods, and other pesky electronic devices. With fairly simple replacement procedures, the average iPhone user should consider a parts replacement before plunking down last month's paycheck for a new product.
Some of the most common problems to face iPhone users are that the LCD screen is of poor condition, rendering the iPhone unusable, that the iPhone has become water damaged, that the battery will not charge or hold charge, that the iPhone has a broken or cracked screen, and that the iPhone won't power on. Instead of tossing the phone out, especially for broken or cracked screens or faulty batteries, make an easy and cheap replacement with used or wholesale Apple iPhone parts. On the other end of the issue? Have a broken iPhone that you just can't seem to get rid of? Why not try selling it for parts. Apple iPhone parts are increasingly in demand, and it could be a great way to get a little cash advanced on your next technological purchase, whether it be an iPhone or not. Why iPhone 4 Is Good?

The iPhone 4 is one of a product designed and marketed by Apple Inc. which brings the company, the users and the world into a new dimension. There have been four generations of iPhone. The very first model of the iPhone is called iPhone. The first iPhone was released to the market in mid of 2007. The second generation is called iPhone 3G (released on mid of 2008), follow by iPhone 3GS (released on mid of 2009) and the current iPhone 4 (released on mid of 2010).
The iPhone is not a normal basic phone that you can only call and receiving a call but it is a smartphone. This meaning that iPhone is a combination of basic phone, internet and multimedia-enabled smartphone including camera, text messaging, visual voicemail, portable media player, WIFI connection, and an Internet client with email, web browsing and many more.
One of the most important selling points and dominant feature of the iPhone 4 is the Retina capacitive touch screen. This Retina screen is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution of 640 x 960 at 326 ppi with scratch-resistant glass phone screen ever. The capacitive touch screen is designed for a bare finger, or multiple fingers for multi-touch sensing. The touch and gesture features of the iPhone given not only sensitivity but the most precision finger touch input. It gives the users feeling like the iPhone is so intelligent which the iPhone knows when you want to switching/swiping between the pages only and when you want to open an application (apps).
I believe that most of you know that one of the iPhone 4 impressive capabilities is the "pinching" gesture. It zoom in and out of web pages and photos which is done by placing two fingers on the screen and spreading them farther apart or bringing them closer together. Secondly, the accuracy of text input through touching the virtual keyboard will surprise you as well. The other touch sensing feature that impressed me a lot is the Chinese characters writing. Imagine that by using a bare finger only and write a Chinese character on top of the screen, the iPhone will recognize what you wrote and give you three other alternative characters for you to choose. The accuracy meets 99%.
As described above, the iPhone 4 is a smartphone but I would like to call it a "Super Gadget". Why? It is because with the availability of the network connection, the iPhone is a phone, netbook, notebook, electronic book, pocket dictionary, multi-languages' translator, map, scientific calculator, organizer, engineering tools, portable game console, GPS device, portable media player and much more (you name it, the iPhone 4 got it). For example, it will become my netbook when there is a network connection. It is my map, GPS, compass and multi-languages' translator when travelling. It is my game console and media player when I get bored. It is my personal Bible which I carry it, and read it everyday and everywhere. It is even my "savior" on my engineering stuff like leveling equipments, engineering unit converter, scientific calculator, engineering formulas and etc. Guess what, I never get bored, lost and never bring along multi gadgets for travelling, and go shopping with my wife. What I need is just to bring along this light and handy iPhone 4.
Of course the stock iPhone 4 itself is incomplete as a "Super Gadget" but thanks to the App store with more than 200,000 apps (application), the iPhone 4 will deem to be perfect. You can either logon to the iTunes account through the iPhone or personal computer. Thus, the good thing about the iPhone 4 is that you can get the apps wherever and whenever you want. For example, assuming you are traveling and need to drive in Bangkok, Thailand but you don't know the way. So, just logon to the App store and purchase the GPS navigation app and bingo, your iPhone 4 is now a GPS navigator now. Well, the apps are varying in prices and some of the apps are even free of charge. Believe it or not, some of the free of charge apps can be very useful as well.
Last but not least, as an owner of Apple iPhone 4 myself; I strongly believe that it is an excellent smartphone ever. With one single normal smartphone price and you will get all the stuffs. So, why bother to buy additional PSP, GPS navigator, scientific calculator, MP3 player, pocket dictionary, pocket Bible, and etc. The iPhone case & accessories are very cool too. You can change all kind of iPhone cases to suit your moods, different occasion and usage. So, I definitely will stick with Apple iPhone and will continue to support it with my next and future phones.
Best regards,
Kit Chong
